Delicious with fish or mince frikkadels.
45 ml (3 T) oil
1 onion, thinly sliced
1/2 green pepper, thinly sliced
1 chilli, thinly sliced
5 ml (1 t) chopped garlic
Salt and black pepper to taste
15 ml (1 T) pickle masala
700 ml (3 C) cooked white basmati rice
- Heat the oil in a large pan and fry the onion, green pepper, chilli and garlic on medium heat to high heat until golden brown.
- Next, add the salt, pepper, pickle masala and 30 ml (2 T) water and fry for 1 minute.
- Add the rice and mix well, then simmer on low heat for 5 minutes.
- Serve piping hot.
